Art-wise, there is plenty of displays to admire. The Glenbow Museum features displays of European, Asian, African, and more cultures of art. If you’re bringing kids with you on your visit, there are plenty of things for them to do at the museum. The Glenbow Museum is open Monday to Saturday from 9 am to 5 in the evening. The Calgary Zoo is the one of the largest zoos in Canada, as well as being one of the first. The museum houses over 1,000 animals – 1,400 to be exact. Calgary Zoo features its own botanical garden, with plants from both local and international places. When you’re in Calgary, you can’t miss visiting Canada Olympic Park. The massive sports complex was used in the 1988 Olympics but is now training grounds for athletes. A variety of activities are offered here, such as skiing. On-site, you can also find the Olympic Hall of Fame and Museum, home of the most artifacts of the Olympics. Canada Olympic Park is open to sports fans during the weekdays from 10 in the morning to 9 at night. On the weekends, they open at 9 am and close at 5 pm. Films and shows played at the planetarium teach visitors about the vast galaxies and wonders outside of our world. The Liberty Science Center also features educational programs and events for your little ones. The hours of the science museum varies, depending on any events and things going on. Admission to the science center costs $22.75 for adults and $18.75 for kids aged 2 to 12.

 


Jersey City and New York City both share a fair number of historical sites. One of the main ones in Jersey City is the Empty Sky Memorial. The Empty Sky Memorial is the 9/11 tribute in New Jersey. It is located in Liberty State Park. The memorial features two metal pieces from the World Trade Center, and two columns filled with names.
